In Middelfart, Willy Naessens is constructing a new and flexible logistics centre that can be adapted to the needs of individual tenants. The first tenant will bring together 7,000 m² of warehouse and office space in the new building. The remaining areas will be constructed and fitted out as new tenants move in.
For all columns in the building, the Belgian contractor Willy Naessens chose HELKA® Column Shoes and HPM® Anchor Bolts from Peikko. The solution enables fast and efficient erection, with each column installed in just 10 minutes and able to remain standing without temporary bracing.

The fast erection reduces crane time, labour requirements and the overall construction time, while also making quality assurance simpler and faster. As no temporary bracing is required, there is more space and improved safety on site, allowing workers and machinery to operate more freely. Work can also progress more quickly, as other elements, such as beams and walls, can be installed without waiting for the temporary column bracing to be removed.
The result is an efficient construction process with significant savings in both time and costs.
